Liability Waiver & Release

1. Acknowledgment of Risks

1.1 Nature of Activities

I acknowledge that ICPF Camp 2026 ("the Camp") will take place at Jarrahfall Bush Camp in Dwellingup, Western Australia, from April 6-9, 2026, and will involve various activities including but not limited to:

• Outdoor recreational activities
• Physical activities and sports
• Group activities and team building exercises
• Indoor and outdoor worship and teaching sessions

1.2 Inherent Risks

I understand and acknowledge that participating in the Camp and its activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Risk of injury from physical activities
• Exposure to weather conditions and natural elements
• Risk of trips, falls, and collisions
• Risk of injury from equipment or facilities
• Risk of allergic reactions or illness
• Risk associated with interaction with other participants
• Risk of exposure to infectious diseases including COVID-19

I acknowledge that these risks cannot be entirely eliminated regardless of the care taken to avoid injuries.

2. Voluntary Participation

I acknowledge that participation in the Camp is entirely voluntary. I confirm that the participant is physically and mentally capable of participating in the activities and that there are no medical or physical conditions that would make participation unsafe, except those disclosed in the registration form.

3. Release and Waiver of Liability

3.1 Release of ICPF Perth

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue ICPF Perth, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, and representatives (collectively "Released Parties") from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to:

• Any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by the participant
• Loss or damage to property belonging to the participant
• Any injury or harm caused by the participant to others

This release applies regardless of whether such liability arises from the negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

3.2 Limitation of Liability

I understand that ICPF Perth does not carry medical, health, or personal accident insurance coverage for participants. I accept full responsibility for any medical costs that may be incurred as a result of participation in the Camp.

4. Medical Treatment Authorization

4.1 Emergency Medical Care

I authorize the Released Parties to:

• Provide or arrange for emergency medical care or treatment
• Transport the participant to a medical facility if necessary
• Share medical information with healthcare providers as needed

4.2 Medical Costs

I agree to be financially responsible for any medical or emergency care costs incurred on behalf of the participant during the Camp.

5. Participant Responsibilities

5.1 Following Instructions

The participant agrees to:

• Follow all instructions and directions given by camp staff and leaders
• Comply with all camp rules and safety guidelines
• Use equipment and facilities only as instructed
• Immediately report any injuries, hazards, or unsafe conditions
• Refrain from activities beyond their skill or comfort level

5.2 Medical Disclosure

I have accurately disclosed all relevant medical conditions, medications, allergies, and dietary requirements in the registration form. I agree to update ICPF Perth immediately if any changes occur before the Camp begins.

6. Behavior and Conduct

I understand that the participant is expected to behave in a respectful and appropriate manner. I acknowledge that ICPF Perth reserves the right to send home any participant whose behavior is deemed dangerous, disruptive, or inappropriate, without refund.

7. Photography and Media Release

I consent to photographs and videos being taken during the Camp and grant ICPF Perth the right to use such media for promotional purposes, unless I have specifically opted out in writing.

8. Personal Property

I understand that ICPF Perth is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property. The participant brings personal items at their own risk.

9. Transportation

I acknowledge that ICPF Perth does not provide transportation to or from the Camp. I am responsible for arranging the participant's safe transportation to and from Jarrahfall Bush Camp, Dwellingup.

10. Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• The participant's participation in the Camp
• Any injury or damage caused by the participant to others or property
• Any breach of this agreement

11. Severability

If any provision of this Waiver is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

12. Governing Law

This Waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Western Australia, Australia.

13. Acknowledgment and Agreement

I HAVE READ THIS LIABILITY WAIVER AND RELEASE, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, AND UNDERSTAND THAT I AM GIVING UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE.

I acknowledge that I am signing this agreement freely and voluntarily, and intend my agreement to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law.

By completing the registration and payment process, I confirm that:

• I have read and understood this entire document
• I accept all terms and conditions stated herein
• I am the participant's parent/legal guardian (if participant is under 18), or I am the participant and am 18 years or older
• I have the authority to agree to this waiver on behalf of the participant
